The Movie Gallery Inc. store at the Mount Blue Shopping Center in Farmington is one of several in Maine slated to close. Movie Gallery Inc. filed voluntary petitions on Feb. 2 for reorganization under Chapter 11of the United States Bankruptcy Code. This action, which doesn’t include Canadian operations, will enable Movie Gallery to restructure its debt while continuing to operate its business, according to the company’s Web site. Other Gallery stores in Maine to close are in Lewiston, Topsham, Bangor, Portland, Gorham, Wiscasset, Millinocket and Waterville.
