RUMFORD — The annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the River Valley Chamber and the Mexico Fire Department, will take place on Saturday, April 3, throughout the towns of Byron, Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, Hanover, Mexico, Peru, Roxbury and Rumford.
Children ages 7 to 12 may participate. Clues for the hidden eggs will be read through local radio station WOXO 100.7FM from 6 to 9 a.m. When an egg is found, the children will have until noon to take it to the Mexico Fire Department and receive an Easter basket.
Children age 6 and younger will have an Easter Egg Hunt at 9 a.m. at the Mexico Fire Station.
Those who would like to sponsor an egg for $10 may mail the donation to the River Valley Chamber or stop by the Chamber office at 10 Bridge St.
