NORTHEAST HARBOR — The wedding of Katherine Kurowski and Brock Trepanier was held at 4:30 p.m. on June 27 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Northeast Harbor. Deacon Steven Buttrick, a close family friend of the bride and her family, officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line style gown with white beads and embroidery with small jeweled straps and a long scalloped train. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia roses, green cymbidium orchids and white peonies.

Alicia Kurowski was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids, all friends of the bride, were Alison Antonowicz, Nicole Gulla, Nicole Learned and Rachel Smith. Junior bridesmaid was Olivia Kurowski, a niece of the bride.

Zachary Potter, a friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Charest and Ben Davidson, friends of the bridegroom, and Brian and Tim Kurowski, nephews of the bride.

A reception was held at the historic Asticou Inn at Northeast Harbor, after which the couple traveled to Playa del Carmen in Mexico. They are currently residing in Quincy, Mass.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Mass., and a 2004 graduate of Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. In May she plans to graduate from the University of Massachusetts in Boston with a master’s degree in nursing education. She is employed as a charge nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2004 graduate of Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He is employed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Cardiac Surgical ICU.

The bridegroom is the grandson of Ronald and Patricia Beauchesne of Auburn and Jeanne d’Arc and the late Rock Trepanier of Greene. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Donald and Arlene Patterson and the late Michael and Stella Kurowski.
