LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay Livermore Falls Seniors met on Feb. 15 at Murray Hall, with 22 members and one guest in attendance.
Rebecca Ryder, CEO of Franklin Memorial Hospital, spoke on new services available in the area, which include electronic equipment for ICU patients and an oncology site connected with Maine Medical Center.
The hospital also offers care for people at it’s health care and primary care facilities in Livermore Falls. It also has a new dermatology department which has been a great help to people in the area.
George Doiron sang “God Bless America” in observance of President’s Day. He also led the group in singing “Happy Birthday” to the members celebrating birthdays in February.
Cards and regular games were played after the meeting.
