Circle to meet

RUMFORD — St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at the Holy Savior Church Hall. Committee members are Angie Arsenault, chairwoman, Betty Dumoulin, Kay Lawler, Theresa Vaillancourt, Dot Chrissikos, Bernadette Coulombe and Pearl Murphy.

Cancer workshop

RUMFORD — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing in Lewiston will offer a free workshop focusing on the management of cancer-related lymphedema, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at Rumford Hospital, Conference Room A.

The workshop is open to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. Lymphedema is a chronic swelling that can occur as the result of cancer treatment. Rhonda Norton, PT, Rehabilitation Department, will discuss prevention strategies and review treatment options.
