Snowshoeing with class

Fifth-graders Alanah Goodwin, 11, left, and Kasadie Barker, 10, both of Wilton, head down a hill on Monday at Academy Hill School in Wilton during a physical education class featuring snowshoes, taught by Brian Kelly. Both girls ended up stumbling when their snowshoes fell off. Goodwin went down the hill on one snowshoe, carrying the other, while Barker played it safe and took the road down.
