Members of Danville Junction Grange 65 recently participated in Operation Military Kids by sewing pillow cases for children. The project was funded by a grant to support children whose parents are deployed in the armed services. Hero packs are given to each child. The packs include a memory pillow which contains a voice message from the parent. Members of Danville Junction Grange have sewn more than 200 pillows. They are, in front, from left, Glenys Ryder, Marilyn Redmun, Virginia Hyam; back, Shirley Hatch and Cynthia Maxwell; absent when photo was taken, Dorrice Austin.
