United States Marines and representatives from Androscoggin, Kennebec, Lincoln, Penobscot and Cumberland counties recently paid tribute to veterans at the Togus Veterans Hospital during the National Salute to Veteran Patients program. They toured all the buildings and visited with patients to thank them for serving the country. The group, pictured, was escorted in two teams by two hospital staff members.
