Robert Gibson, a featured artist in L/A Arts’ “Pixels: Parts of a Whole” exhibit, will give an Artist Talk from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Gallery 5 in Lewiston. He will discuss his artistic process, which he describes as “A Search for the Secret Life of Things.” Gibson is recognized for his vibrant use of color in still lifes, nature scenes, and surrealist and abstract works, like this acrylic painting, above, titled “Life Energies.” Besides paintings, he also produces digitally altered art and photographs of selected or created objects. “Pixels” will be up through March 29.
