LISBON — Voters will be asked to approve a 10-year, $350,000 bond issue at a referendum on April 6. It will be the only question on the ballot.

The bond, if approved, will fund renovations to the high school, including a new roof on the gymnasium, new windows and accessibility renovations to the school entrance. A total of $250,000 in stimulus funds will be combined with the bond money for the renovation project.

The bond question has received recommendations to pass from the School Committee, the Town Council and the Budget Advisory Board. If approved by voters, renovations are anticipated to begin this summer, superintendent Richard Green said. Absentee ballots are available by calling Town Clerk Twila Lycette at 353-3000, extension 112.
