LEWISTON – The Lewiston Department of Recreation’s Men’s Basketball Scholarship Tournament will be held Saturday at Lewiston Memorial Armory. Proceeds from the tournament will go for scholarships to youth recreational programs for those who could not otherwise afford to participate. Concessions will be available. Entry fees are free for players and children ages 4 and under; $1 for children 5 to 17; and $3 for adults.
Schedule for the double-elimination tournament is as follows:
South Lewiston Baptist Church vs. Class Acts, 9 a.m.
K.C. Auto vs. Maine Frameworks, 10:15 a.m.
Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 11:30 a.m.
Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 12:45 p.m.
Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4, 2 p.m.
Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 3:15 p.m.
Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 6 (if necessary), 4:30 p.m.
