LEWISTON — Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care announces the hiring of Donna Driscoll as disabilities manager and the promotion of Susan Staples to family services manager.

Driscoll comes to Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care from Franklin Community Health Network where she was director of Franklin Child Care. She was also previously employed as Early Head Start site supervisor with Community Concepts. She  received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood special education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She lives in Livermore Falls with her son. Her daughter is a junior at Lyndon State College in Vermont.

Staples has been employed for the past three years with Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care as the family support specialist. She has more than 10 years of experience working with preschool children and families. She has been employed as a preschool teacher, infant/toddler teacher, early intervention screener at CDS and has also developed art and theater workshops for school-age children. Staples holds a master’s degree in child development and early childhood education from Wheelock College in Boston. Originally from Presque Isle, she currently lives in Western Maine.
