Issue: The town regularly reviews and updates ordinances as needed.
Scoop: Following the second reading of proposed amendments, the town council adopted changes to the subdivision, site plan and board of assessment review ordinances. All have been reviewed and recommended by the Planning Board.
Issue: Each year the town seeks bids for printing the annual town report and other services.
Scoop: Bids were received from eight companies. Park Street Press of Norway was awarded the contract on its bid of $1,280. The contract for surveying and engineering services for the design of the Androscoggin River trail was awarded to Woodard and Curran on its bid of $175,799.
Appointments
Sheila Gray and Monique Gayton were appointed wardens for the June 8 election. Eugene Elcik and Richard Long were appointed to the board of assessment review.
