SOUTH PARIS — Riley Eusden of South Paris, a senior at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, has been selected to receive the 2010 Principal’s Award, Principal Theodore Moccia recently announced. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

Throughout his years at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Eusden has distinguished himself in the classroom, on the athletic field and as a leader in the school.

“He exemplifies what we want an OHCHS student to be,” Moccia said. “His actions, high academic achievement and work ethic over the course of his high school career make him a very deserving recipient.”

Eusden, Moccia and other award winners and their principals will attend an honors luncheon at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor.

The honors luncheon recognizes the students with the presentation of an individual plaque and the awarding of five $1,000 scholarships in the names of Horace O. McGowan and Richard W. Tyler, former Maine principals and executive directors of the Association.
