NEW GLOUCESTER — A small business marketing workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 12, at the New Gloucester Meeting House in Lower Gloucester.

The public is invited to attend at a pre-registration cost of $12.

Gretchen Henn, program director and business counselor of the Maine Women’s Business Center, will conduct the meeting, according the New Gloucester Town Planner Paul First.

“Marketing is more than advertising,” First said. “Small business owners challenged by a difficult economy and limited financial resources are wise to rethink their marketing strategies, making sure they are clearly focused and provide the best possible return on investment.”

The interactive workshop will give helpful tips on how to run an effective marketing campaign on a shoestring budget, with opportunities for sharing no-cost and low-cost marketing ideas that work.

To register contact First, New Gloucester town planner, at 926-4126, extension 4, or e-mail pfirst@newgloucester.com
