LEWISTON – The Lewiston Slowpitch Softball League will meet today at the Lewiston Recreation Department. Co-ed coaches will meet at 6:30 p.m., followed by men’s coaches at 7:15 p.m. Anyone interested in putting a team in either league should bring a check for a $100 to hold a spot.
LAYHL Midget tryouts
LEWISTON – LAHYL Midget fall hockey tryouts will be held April 11 at Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston. Season will be from mid-August to mid-November. There will be a U18 Tier II team, a U16 Tier II team, and a U18 Tier III team depending on how many players tryout. The more, the merrier.
If you are 18 years old or younger and feel you would like to compete in this year’s LAYHL Midget Program, then please try out. U16 Evaluations begin at 9 a.m. and U18 Evaluations begin at 10:40 a.m.
All players must bring their application and proof that they are registered with USA Hockey. Please go to www.layhl.com for more details and a link to the Midget Player Application. Please go to www.USAHockey.com if you need to register with USA Hockey.
All participants will be assessed a $15, non-refundable fee prior to tryout.
