NEW GLOUCESTER — In recognition of Grange Month, the Sabbathday Lake Grange invites community members to learn more about their purpose, programs and activities at an open house.

At the open house, the Grange will also present the the Community Citizen Award to acknowledge good works of a community citizen. This year, the award will go to the Opportunity Farm in New Gloucester, this being its 100th year anniversary. Ron Scott, president, will accept the award.

The open house and award ceremony will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 23, at the Grange, 370 Sabbathday Road. All members of the community are invited. The event is free and refreshments will be served.

To find out more about the open house and award ceremony, contact Sabbathday Lake Grange Lecturer Steven Haycock at Granger04071@aol.com or 998-2783.
