MECHANIC FALLS — Robert and Debra Small of Mechanic Falls and Frederick and Susanna Elliot of Brooksville are thrilled to announce the engagement of their children, Emily Small and Benjamin Elliot.
The future bride is a graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono in 2004 and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Southern Maine in 2009. She is currently employed as a therapist at a local mental health agency.
The future bridegroom is a graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, N.Y. He received his bachelor’s degree in marine transportation from the Maine Maritime Academy in 2002 and is currently employed as an officer for Crowley Maritime Transportation.
The couple is planning a spring 2011 wedding.
