The Jay High School “B” Envirothon Team, who call themselves the “Pig Pots,” placed third at the Southwestern Maine Envirothon Regionals, held on April 28 at the Poland Spring Resort in Poland. The team earned the right to compete at the Envirothon State Finals on May 27 at Husson University in Bangor. The team includes, from left, advisor Rob Taylor, Kristy Macomber, Beth Moore, Samantha Hutchinson, Alexi Deering, Jacob Roy and Isaac Couture.
