A group from the Jay Livermore Falls Seniors recently visited the State House, accompanied by Rep. Paul Gilbert and his wife, Jean. Dan Fournier led the tour and the group learned new things about the building and what representatives and senators do for the citizens. Lunch followed in the Cross Cafe. Gilbert offered for the group to visit the Museum at a later date. Pictured, in front, from left, are Paul Gilbert, Jean Gilbert, chairwoman Shirley Couture, Gloria Bickford, Diane Getz, Jeanne Chretien, Pauline Coombs, Marguerite Richardson, Aurelien Couture; back, Doris Wilson, Fernande Doiron. The last meeting of the Jay Livermore Falls Seniors until the fall will be held on Monday, May 17, when a light meal of finger rolls and salads will be served.
