Small business workshop
FARMINGTON — A “Financing Your Small and Home-based Business” resource session will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Franklin County Office of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
A panel of experts from organizations and banks will discuss options for financing a small business and explain what special programs and services may be available for the business.

Community breakfast
OQUOSSOC — The next ladies/community breakfast, with everyone invited, will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Gingerbread House on Main Street.

Plant sale
LIVERMORE — The fourth annual perennial plant sale will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at the Livermore Community Building on Church Street. There will also be a bake sale and book sale.
All proceeds will benefit the Livermore Public Library. For more information, call 897-7173.
