A Funeral Mass honoring the life of Clemence Q. Gervais was celebrated on Monday, June 7, at the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul Prince of Peace Parish following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. Monsignor Marc Caron celebrated the Mass. During the Mass, the First Reading was read by Mrs. Gervais’ niece, Claudette Lachance, and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by great-granddaughter, Abbi Pilot. At the end of Mass, granddaughter Susan Martin read a poem in tribute to her grandmother. The pallbearers were Brandon, Andrew, Joseph and Austin Gervais and Kevin and Lee Madore. All in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Panda Garden Restaurant in Auburn following the services at the church. Burial will be private at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
