Incident Report Statistics:

Between 6 p.m. June 6 and 6 p.m. June 14, patrol officers responded to 82 complaints.

Charges:

On June 6 — 11:05 p.m., Daniel Tracy, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a warrant charging failure to appear for fishing without a license on Franklin Street. Tracy posted $100 cash bail and was released.

On June 7 — 10:25 a.m., Cory Virgin, 18, of Mexico was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with violating conditions of release on Cumberland Street. Virgin was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on Sept. 17.

On June 7 — 10:25 a.m., Marcus Collins, 19, of Mexico was charged by Act. Cpl. K. Scott Mills with illegal possession of marijuana and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia on Cumberland Street. Collins is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 3.

On June 7 — 10:25 a.m., Steven Roberts, 20, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with violating conditions of release on Cumberland Street. Roberts was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on Sept. 17.

On June 8 — 12:30 p.m., Lawrence Ward, 28, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with theft on Hartford Street. Ward is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 3.

On June 9 — 11-year-old Rumford female was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller with criminal mischief on Route 108. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford Juvenile Court on Aug. 3.

Assault:

On June 9 — 11 p.m., Ptl. Theriault is investigating an assault that took place on Hancock Street.

On June 14 — 1:37 p.m., Ptl. Miller investigated an assault that took place on Congress Street. Incident documented with no charges being pressed.

Criminal Mischief:

On June 8 — 7:43 p.m., Cpl. Maifeld is investigating the theft of a laptop, tattoo gun, jewelry and a bag valued at $2,000 stolen from a Cumberland Street apartment.

On June 9 — 6:42 p.m., Sgt. Higley is investigating the break-in of an apartment on Spruce Street. Victim reported nothing missing.

On June 8 — 7:43 p.m., Sgt. Bean is investigating 11 pine trees damaged on the property of an Ellis River Road resident. Estimate of damage listed at $50 each.

Wanted

Glen Lane, 25, of Mexico is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant charging failure to appear for domestic violence terrorizing.
