RUMFORD — Margaret Eaton Partridge, 87, of Concord Apartments, Rumford, died Thursday, July 1, at the Rumford Hospital.
She was born In Searsport, Aug. 18, 1922, the eldest child of James and Minnie Coffin Eaton. On Sept . 21, 1940, she married Charles L. Partridge of Wilton.
Margaret loved cryptograms and for many years played in several bridge clubs and catered parties while living in Ridgewood, N.J.
She is survived by a brother, Cony Eaton and his wife, Beverly, of Georgia; three sisters, Minnie Seigle, Beverly Richards and Roxalynn Powers and her husband, Harry; daughter-in-law, Georgianne Partridge of Goshen, N.Y.; grandsons, James Partridge Jr. of Oklahoma, and Bill Partridge of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; a sister, Shirley Sawtelle; and a brother, James M. Eaton Jr.
