LEWISTON — The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society invites the community to their fourth annual “Litter” Bug Drive on Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11.
The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society goes through thousands of pounds of cat litter each year, most of which is donated. To ensure that they are able to care for and keep their feline friends comfortable, the shelter is seeking donations of clay cat litter to help replenish their diminishing supply. All litter donors will be entered in a drawing for a day trip for two to Mohegan Sun.
The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society provides a safe haven for more than 5,500 sick, homeless and abused animals in the greater Androscoggin area each year. The primary support for the shelter comes from fundraising events and donations.
