WATERFORD – The Maine Eagles Riders will hold the first annual ride to benefit Camp To Belong Maine, an event to raise money to send children in the Maine foster care system to camp.

The event will begin at L/A Harley in Lewiston with biker registration from 9 to 11 a.m. The ride will take participants through Western Maine through the scenic Oxford County to the shores of Bear Pond to Camp Wigwam, the host site of Camp To Belong Maine. The riders will help raise awareness about the importance of keeping sibling connections intact.

The cost is $20 each person for the ride. Riders will parade onto the camp location and will present the Camp To Belong Maine volunteers and staff with funds they have raised through various events. It will be followed by a barbecue lunch to thank the riders.

For more information about the benefit ride, call Doug at 364-7745 or Diane at 357-8621.
