GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — Philip Francis Chapman Sr., 92, of Green Cove Springs, Fla., passed away on Tuesdasy, Aug. 10.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1918, in Bethel, Maine, to the late Arthur and Mildred Brown Chapman. He moved to Green Cove Springs in 1978 from Norway, Maine. Mr. Chapman worked in the television business and served in the army during World War II. He was also a member of the congregational faith.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Ruth Chapman, of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; his children, Jan Lane Carver of Jacksonville, Fla., Alecia Barksdale of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Philip F. Chapman Jr. of Winthrop, Brian Paradis of Battle Creek, Mich., Cindy Self of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Michael Paradis of Norway; grandchildren, Tanya Lane Seely of St. Augustine, Fla., Leisa Lane Peters of Jacksonville, Fla., Philip Chapman III of Winthrop, Angela Cormier of Winthrop, Amanda Barksdale of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Megan Barksdale of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Austin Barksdale of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Jessica Self of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Tammy Dobbis of Norway, Ryan Paradis of Norway, Jason Paradis of Norway, Shaun Mason of Otisfield, Kim Small of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and John Paradis of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; his great-grandchildren, Mariah Lane of Jacksonville, Fla., Zachary Lane Peters of Jacksonville, Fla., Zachary Chapman of Winthrop, Triton Chapman of Winthrop,  Lynmarie Cormier of Winthrop, Caden Barksdale of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Justin Paradis of Norway, and Celeste Paradis of Norway.
