FARMINGTON — Local businesses have donated more than 30 items with a total retail value of more than $1,400 for LEAP’s fourth annual golf tournament and silent auction. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Sandy River Golf Course in Farmington Falls.

Among the items available are autographed Seth Wescott posters, ski passes, a six-hour guided fishing trip, gift certificates to local restaurants and other businesses, massage packages, gift baskets, books, toys and plants.

Golf registration will begin at 11 a.m. Tee-off time will be at 1 p.m. with a barbecue afterwards. The cost is $35 for a single golfer and $120 for a team of four. The tournament is limited to 72 golfers and advanced registration is available. T-shirts will be available for the first 50 registrants.

LEAP, Inc. is a private non-profit agency that serves people with cognitive and intellectual disabilities in Western and Central Maine through a variety of community and residential supports.
