LISBON — Nomination papers are available for several positions to be filled in the Nov. 2 municipal election.

Town Clerk Twila Lycette said the three-year terms of Councilors Dale Crafts, Fern Larochelle and Gina Mason are expiring. Larochelle has taken out papers for re-election to the at-large seat, as has Dorothy Fitzgerald.

Mason has taken out papers for re-election for District I, Lisbon Village; and Roger Bickford has taken out papers for District II, Lisbon Center and Lisbon Falls, the seat now held by Crafts.

Three seats on the Budget Advisory Board will be filled: One at-large held by Layne Curtis, and one each for Districts 1 and 2. John Wierzbicki has taken out nomination papers for re-election to the District I seat. The District 2 seat is vacant.

There are two seats open on the School Committee. They are held by Traci Austin and George Caron. Caron has filed papers; Austin has taken out papers.

Longtime water commissioner Bill Bauer has taken out papers for another three-year term.

Nomination papers must be filed at the town clerk’s office no later than 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20.
