The parishes of St. Joesph of Farmington and St. Rose of Jay recently gathered for a parish picnic at the St. Rose campground on Gibbs Mills Road in Livermore. Father Thomas Lequine, pictured, held an outdoor Sunday Mass. Members of the Knights of Columbus cooked a meal of chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs. Dessert was made my members of the Daughters of Isabella. There was pie contest, games, swimming, card playing and a “jail” fundraiser, with proceeds going to the youth ministry. Attendees also watched a performance by the Yo-Yo Man. Afternoon music was provided by Silver and Gold.
