Between 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, and 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, patrol officers responded to 93 complaints.
Arrests/Summonses:
On Aug. 12 – 10 a.m., Aaron Sargent, 33, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with domestic assault and refusing to submit to arrest on Spruce Street. Sargent was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.
On Aug. 13 – 12:55 a.m., Tristin Dayon, 29, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with violating conditions of release on Cumberland Street. Dayon was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.
On Aug. 13 – 3:54 a.m., Joshua Bernard, 26, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with disorderly conduct on Cumberland Street. Bernard was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.

On Aug. 13 – 7:57 p.m., Theresa Leighton, 37, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with violating conditions of release and hindering apprehension on Spruce Street. Leighton was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5 .
On Aug. 13 – 9:55 p.m., Kevin Granja, 20, of Middlebury, Conn., was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with criminal speed on Route 2. Granja posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.
On Aug. 14 – 5:10 p.m., Kyle Blodgett, 18, of Mexico was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with operating after suspension on Hancock Street. Blodgett is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.
On Aug. 15 – 8:12 p.m., 16-year-old male and 17-year-old male both of Rumford were charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with assault at the corner of Hancock Street and Lincoln Avenue. The juveniles are scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.
On Aug. 16 – 5:25 p.m., 16-year-old female of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with illegal possession of liquor by a juvenile and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia on Route 2. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.
On Aug. 16 – 5:25 p.m., 17-year-old male of Mexico was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with illegal possession of liquor by a juvenile on Route 2. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.
On Aug. 16 – 5:25 p.m., Allan Hussian, 18, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with illegal possession of liquor by a minor on Route 2. Hussian is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 5.
