Libby Mitchell is the Democratic candidate for governor. She will work to reduce health care costs through innovation. She will focus on prevention and primary care.

She has already had a leadership role in creating wellness programs for Maine state employees. She has experience with current laws in Maine and will transition the state into compliance with national health care reform.
