LEWISTON — The Piper family reunion was held recently at the home of Edna Beaudet, where a barbecue was served for lunch.

There was a lot of laughter and socializing, music and swimming, and the limbo and a two-legged race were among the games played by both adults and children.

The reunion was a gathering of the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren of Edmund and Gladys Piper. Children in attendance were Edna Beaudet of Lewiston, Donna Labbe of Lewiston and Patricia Piper of Old Orchard.

Extended family members attending were: Stephanie Blair-Parker and family of Wales, Bertina Parent and family of Greene, Debbie Johnson and family of Lewiston, Valerie Curtis of Wiscassett, Val Beaudet Jr. and Valerie of Lewiston, Scott and Penny Labbe and family of Lewiston, Darlene Therrien of Lewiston, Michael and Diane Paine of Lewiston, Donald and Brenda Fortin Sr. of Poland.

Also, Jody and Laura Moczara of Lewiston, Christopher and Jen Nadeau of Lewiston, Elizabeth Paine and Dan Pellitier and family of Lewiston, Jon and Jenn Fortin and family of Lewiston, Justin Fortin and family of Poland, Donald Fortin Jr. and Pauline of Poland, Gloria Piper of Dixfield, Todd Piper and Jenn of Roxbury and Brett and Cheryl Carey and family of Rumford.
