I hope Maine doesn’t go the way of California and propose a bill to ban plastic grocery bags.

Many people use them for lining small wastebaskets, and it would be expensive for caregivers to buy plastic bags to dispose of soiled undergarments.

A better solution would be to insist the manufacturers make biodegradable bags, then the companies could still stay in business and keep their employees.
