Key losses: Kelsey Ouellette, Kenzie Hill, Lauren McHatten, Katie Michelsen, Kayla Kaiser, Bailey Hannum, Ashley Barter.
Promising newcomers: Senior — Sasha Flaherty (M);’ Junior — Nikki Burgess (HB); Sophomore — Lorin Bryant (G); Freshman — Alyssa Arsenault (G).
Outlook: The Ramblers were, along with Telstar last season, the class of the MVC. They lost a lot of firepower up front and some solid defenders, so this year may see a small step back for Winthrop as it begins its conference title defense. But the step will, indeed, be small, with a wealth of younger players ready to step into roles as varsity players.
