AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Yvette R. Lamontagne were celebrated by the Rev. Richard McLaughlin Thursday at Sacred Heart Church. At the entrance of church, Yvette’s grandsons draped their grandmother’s casket with the burial pall that commemorates Yvette’s new spiritual life with God. During the Mass, Yvette’s granddaughters, Paula Roux and Chantel St. Laurent proclaimed the Old and New Testament readings as well as reciting the prayer of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Yvette’s great-grandchildren, Spencer Reynolds and Makenzie Nainiger. There was also a large delegation Golden Age members in attendance from Sacred Heart Church. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Father McLaughlin recited committal prayers where services concluded. Pallbearers were Daniel, Donald, Joseph, and Brian Lamontagne; Nick Robert, and Casey Reynolds. Yvette’s honorary bearer was grandson, Chris Reynolds. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel and Tribute Center.
