Miller
AUBURN — The wedding of Beth Spencer Woodhead and Burton Norman Miller was held on Aug. 7 at the Auburn United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard Cullen officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Margaret A. Spencer of Standish, formerly of Lewiston, and the late Gerald A. Spencer. The bridegroom is the son of the late Roger M. Miller and Berniece P. Miller of Augusta.
The bride was escorted by her sons. Gretchen A. Duff, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Flower girls were Madeline and Anna Grace Cuff, daughters of the matron of honor.
Groomsmen were Jason, Bobby J. and Christopher Miller, sons of the bridegroom. Junior ushers were Colin W.A. and Carl S.G. Woodhead, sons of the bride.
Melissa L. Miller, daughter of the bridegroom, presented a reading during the ceremony.
A reception followed at the church, after which the couple traveled to southern coastal Maine and Boston. They are residing in Auburn.
The bride attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Bonney Eagle High School and the University of Maine at Farmington. She is employed by the Lewiston School Department at Lewiston Middle School.
The bridegroom attended Chelsea schools and graduated from Cony High School and the University of Maine at Augusta. He is employed at Maine General Medical Center as a mental health worker and substance abuse counselor.
