As an independent voter for more than 40 years, I would like to express my support for Sheryl Briggs.

I, my mother-in-law and my granddaughter have all called on her for assistance at some time or another.

I have always been impressed with her help, concern and leadership as a representative for the people of the area. She took the time, when called upon, to visit and help a woman, living alone, who was more than 80 years old.

She has been a help to us, and then helped our granddaughter.

That type of leadership is rare, and that is why our votes will be for Sheryl Briggs.
