NORWAY — “Harry Potter Mania” will be coming to the Norway Memorial Library from 3:15 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16. Children and Harry Potter lovers of all ages are invited to attend the festivities as the Children’s Room is transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the afternoon.
The event is in honor of the release of the seventh movie, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.” The festivities will include potions, wand-making in Diagon Alley, divination, tri-wizard trivia and a snitch scavenger hunt.
All participants are encouraged to dress the part. School cloaks, hats and house colors are encouraged. Gryffindor’s colors are red and gold, Ravenclaw are blue and bronze, Hufflepuff are yellow and black and Slytherin are green and silver. Participants who are unsure of which house to join can attend and let the sorting hat decide.
For more information or to register, call the library at 743-5309 or stop by the children’s room.
