DIXFIELD — The following incidents were handled by the Dixfield Police Department.
Assault
A 16-year-old Dixfield boy was charged at 2:20 p.m., Oct. 19, with assaulting another student at Dirigo High School. He was released to his parents and later expelled by the local school board.
Arrest
Amanda Watts, 26, no known address, was arrested at 5:15 p.m., Oct. 17, on Shady Brook Lane, on a warrant issued by Franklin County. Sgt. Jeffrey Howe said officer Anne Simmons-Edmunds was investigating a civil issue when Watts was discovered.
Theft
A 50-gallon propane gas tank, valued at $165, was stolen from the exterior of a camp located on the Falls Road sometime before Oct. 20.
Pending charges
John Dutcher whose last known address was Coburn Avenue, Dixfield, and who now lives in Massachusetts, is wanted for violation of a protection from abuse order. Howe said he had been arrested and convicted of domestic terrorizing in August, and was released on one year probation when the victim reported that he had begun terrorizing her through electronic messages.
