Incident Report Statistics:
Between 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, and 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, Rumford patrol officers responded to 65 complaints requiring an officer for service.
Arrests/Summonses:
On Nov. 9 – 2 a.m., Christopher Myles, 38, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on Cumberland Street with violating conditions of release. Myles is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 4.
On Nov. 16 – 7:11 p.m., Wayne Ingham, 22, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller on River Street with violating conditions of release and violating of a protection order. Ingham was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 4.
On Nov. 17 – 10:20 a.m., Jana Mason, 31, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on Plymouth Avenue with operating unregistered motor vehicle. Mason is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 4.
On Nov. 17 – 3:35 p.m., Jason Beedy, 30, of Mexico was charged by Ptl. Joseph Sage on Hancock Street with violating conditions of release. Beedy was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 4.
On Nov. 19– 9 a.m., Jeffrey Maurais, 44, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on a warrant for unpaid fines on an operating under the influence and operating after suspension on Penobscot Street. Maurais posted $500 cash bail and was released.
On Nov. 19– 2:25 p.m., Jonathan Nisbet, 30, of Roxbury was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on Waldo Street. Nisbet is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.
On Nov. 20– 11:55 p.m., Shane Perkins, 42, of Abbott was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller with operating under the influence on Maple Street. Perkins was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.
On Nov. 20 – 10:05 p.m., Marc Chartier, 33, of Rumford was charged by Act. Cpl. Lawrence Winson with operating under the influence and operating after suspension on Hancock Street. Chartier was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.
Criminal Mischief:
On Nov. 17 – 11:04 p.m., Ptl. Miller investigated an incident of a broken window on Erchles Street. Estimated damage $200.
On Nov. 19 – 12:51 p.m., Act. Cpl. Winson investigated an incident of a broken car window on Hancock Street. Victim declined to pursue charges.
Theft:
On Nov. 16 – 12:43 p.m., Cpl. Maifeld investigated a theft from a local business.
Wanted
Joshua Pollis, 25, of Farmington and Mexico is wanted on numerous warrants for failure to pay fines on operating after auspension, failing to stop, robbery, theft and bail violations.
