LISBON — Noreen and Paul Morin of Lisbon are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Morin, to Justin Robert Blouin, son of Jeff Blouin of Lisbon and Nan Givens of Arvada, Colo.

Both are graduates of Lisbon High School, Class of 2005.

Miss Morin is currently working for Tolman Associates of Lewiston as an office manager and is also a licensed insurance agent. She attended Central Maine Community College and received her associate degree in business and associate degree in accounting, both in May of 2009.

Mr. Blouin is employed at L.L. Bean’s Hunting and Fishing Store of Freeport. He attended Unity College and also graduated in May of 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences with hopes of one day becoming a fisheries biologist.

The couple met during their first year at Lisbon Elementary School. After remaining close friends all throughout the years, the couple started dating in January 2009 and the proposal happened on June 5, 2010 at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts during a Taylor Swift concert while the artist performed “Love Story.”

An Oct. 1, 2011, wedding date has been set and the couple will celebrate their special day with family and friends.

The couple currently resides in Greene, but have hopes of finding a home in the Lisbon area closer to each of their families, both residing on the same street.
