LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors met at Murray Hall on Nov. 29 with 34 members and a guest present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture announced the SeniorsPlus meals will be available at Lafleur’s in mid-December.  Anyone who wants tickets for the meals at Chuck Wagon and Lafleur’s may contact her. They are $4 each. 

The Livermore Falls High School senior class will offer a holiday meal at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12.  The meals are free, but there is a limit of 250 meals.  Anyone interested may contact Sue St. Pierre at 897-3428, ext. 111, for tickets.

The senior group will hold q Christmas party on Monday, Dec. 13, at Murray Hall.  Tickets are $7, and meals must be purchased by Monday, Dec. 6, for a head count. 

Wilfred Laplante and group will entertain with holiday music.  Following the entertainment everyone may  participate in the rip-off game.  A $5 gift is to be brought in for those who wish to play. 

Couture announced that Friends Forever is holding a  Christmas open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 70 Main St.   A raffle will be held and food, crafts, books and white elephant tables will be available  Everyone is invited. 

On Monday, Dec. 6,  a Chinese auction will be held following  the meeting. George Hersey and Pat Couture will serve refreshment.

The 50/50 was won by Edith Leblanc.  Door prizes given by two members were won by Alice DeMoras and Pat Couture. Refreshments brought by Shirley Couture and Fernande Doiron were served after the meeting.
