FARMINGTON — Two assistant district attorneys talked to a group of seniors about what is involved with being a prosecutor on Dec. 1.

James Andrews and Andrew Robinson, Franklin County District Attorney’s Office in Farmington, gave a presentation to members of the Gold LEAF Institute Senior College-UMF about their experiences with criminal cases. They addressed a broad range of topics, including criminal statutes, charging decisions, trials and sentencing decisions.

Robinson and Andrews gave hypothetical cases and asked the group “what if” questions, especially when the topic of plea agreements came up.

Robinson and Andrews said that they use humor a lot to help them cope with the stresses of their jobs. Their sense of humor kept the group interested.
