Promising newcomers: Freshman — Stewart Buzzell.
Outlook: The Mustangs went winless last year because they went into every meet with four or five holes, sometimes more with injuries or illness. An influx of new talent has the numbers strong enough this year that they should have every weight class filled except 103. Coulombe and Pat McInnis qualified for states last year, and Foyt-Bridges could join them this year. Seekins finished third among Class C heavyweights last year.
