Returning skiers: Boys: Junior — Dylan McFarland. Girls: Junior — Erin Luce; Sophomore — Siiri Norris.

Key losses: Emily Luce, Jillian Withee.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Senior — Alex James; Sophomore — Caleb Taylor; Freshman — Patrick Banahan. Girls: Sophomore — Catherine Berry; Freshmen — Emily Listowich, Elise Luce.

Outlook: The boys’ numbers have dropped off from prior years and the ‘Runners are in rebuilding mode, with only McFarland returning, and just enough boys to count in a race.returning. Banahan will be a solid addition as a freshman to help lead the team. The girls can be competitive again, despite two huge losses. Yet another Luce, Elise, will hit the slopes this season, and along with Listowich should help make up for the graduation losses.

Coach’s comment: “Overall, I think the girls can be competitive in Class B and we should be able to ski close to last years level or better. The boys team has had the numbers drop, but we have a group that we can start to build with and adding some depth as we go along, will only help us more in the future.” — Coach Bob Luce
