Key losses: Kelton Cullenberg, Richie Brooks, Nick Wilkins, Shelby Aseltine, Caitlin Douglas.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Freshmen — Dustin Staples, Ike Doiron, Silas Rogers. Girls: Senior — Emily Reed; Freshmen — Sarah Wade, Anja Nordstrom.

Outlook: The boys’ and girls’ team both suffered significant losses in terms of talent, but both squads gain just as many newcomers with strong backgrounds. The boys will get stronger all season as the freshmen get used to high school, and the seniors, Brody Hines and Tim Andrews, will lead the way. The girls’ team had a lot of depth to begin with, so it will contend. again. Senior Hannah Allen will lead the girls team.

Coach’s comment: “The boy’s team will be in a building mode with some excellent new recruits after some key losses. There is the possibility that we may exceed people’s expectations. The girl’s team has also suffered some losses but has the depth to remain competitive.” — Coach David Nordstrom
