LEWISTON — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will meet for the annual holiday party at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Ramada Inn.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Ron Niggle and will include Christmas and holiday favorites. Door prizes will be drawn plus a 50/50 pot of gold.

A brief business meeting will be conducted for reading of the minutes. Old and new business discussions will be suspended because of the event. There will be a brief report from the Legislative Committee members, Claire Breton and Roland Metayer.

Plans for the meeting were made at a recent board meeting. Attending were Richard St. Amand, Doris Hamel, Martha Robinson, Claire Breton and Roland Metayer.

Members may bring friends, spouses and/or active-retired federal employees to the meeting. New members are welcome. NARFE is for active and retired employees, spouses, surviving spouses and former spouses who are legally eligible for a federal or survivor annuity.
