LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank announces the addition of Dave Eldridge and Jean Claveau to the commercial lending team.

Eldridge joined the bank as vice president, commercial loan manager. During his career, he has received many awards, including the Small Business Administration’s Financial Advocate of the Year for Maine.

Previously, he was the director of finance and operations at Washington Academy, where he was in charge of the school’s business office. He also worked as vice president of Commercial Banking, where he managed a loan portfolio in excess of $100 million.

He attended the National School of Banking where he graduated cum laude. In 1991, he graduated from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Claveau joined the bank as vice president, commercial loan officer.  Before coming to Androscoggin Bank, he worked as vice president, senior business banker monitoring more than $25 million in business and commercial accounts. Previously, he worked as a loan and investment officer for Coastal Enterprises Inc., where he worked to provide funding for Maine companies.

Claveau received his master’s degree in business administration from Thomas College in Maine in 2004. He graduated from University Laval in Quebec in 1989 with a certificate in political science.  He also received his certification as economic development finance professional from the National Development Council in 2001.
