LEWISTON — In the second half of 2010, Auburn Savings bank dedicated $5,000 of its paid media budget to support community arts organizations as part of its ongoing effort to highlight the thriving arts scene in L-A and the surrounding communities.
The bank’s “artLight” ad campaign will continue in 2011 to shine the spotlight on local artists, galleries and events taking place in the area, Allen Sterling, president of Auburn Savings, said. The Bates Dance Festival, the ArtVan program and Community Little Theatre have been supported.
The bank will select arts organizations or artists to feature as part of the print advertising campaign. Members of the public who are artists, belong to an arts organization or know of an event that Auburn Savings should consider for the “artLight” ads, are encouraged to e-mail the information to [email protected].
